Alice Walter b.1918 married her husband, Henry b.1916-2001 in 1939. He had established a egg layer then a meat bird farm on the family property which had a bungalow colony in Loch Sheldrake, N.Y. Alice helped out with the farm and the bungalow colony. She had two children, Ken and Michele. She also worked as a public schoolteacher and guidance counselor for over 40 years. Alice and Henry were instrumental in facilitating the sale of four farms in order to establish Loch Sheldrake Community College in 1961.
